After many request for a larger capacity oil separator, we have released this can extension to double the capacity of your J&L 3.0 Oil Separator.

Using this extension, total capacity is increased to 6 ounces.

Please note this extension will NOT fit every single application.  This only fits the J&L 3.0 and JLT 3.0 Oil Separator and will not fit the Original JLT Oil Separator.

What Does the J&L 3.0 Oil Separator Can Extension Do?

The J&L 3.0 Oil Separator Can Extension doubles the fluid capacity of a compatible J&L 3.0 Oil Separator from 3 ounces to 6 ounces. The added capacity allows the separator to collect more oil, moisture, and blow-by contaminants before the can needs to be emptied, making maintenance more convenient for compatible applications.

The extension screws between the existing separator top and lower can uses an O-ring seal. It does not change how the oil separator filters crankcase vapors; it simply provides more internal storage for collected fluid. Often searched for as the J&L 3.0 oil separator can extension kit, this upgrade can be especially useful for trucks, frequently driven vehicles, and applications that collect fluid quickly.

Compatibility depends on the oil separator’s part number and available space around the installed can. Review the approved application list before ordering, since the extension does not fit every J&L 3.0 installation.
